I think we've all dreamed of living in a treehouse... at least once... Im sure we all built cubby house's as children and some of us probably gave building one in a tree a go. I know i did!
I once built a tree house in our backyard using an extension cord from the house to power up a TV so me and my friends could play Nintendo 64 in peace. Oh and when we got hungry, we just zapped a frozen pie in the Microwave! Yep, we had a microwave too. So self sufficient! Except the one and only night we slept in there it rained and we almost electrocuted ourselves... The treehouse was demolished.
Now i've discovered grown-ups doing it for real! Full on self sufficient, self sustainable, self awesome tree houses with multi levels. It's every kids dream! Some of these places are too good to be true and i want one! I've started a treehouse saving piggybank. So far i have $3.20 and can almost buy seeds for my tree.

It makes sense for my first post to be about one of MY inventions... right... Of course! So, this is my cardboard chair! AKA - 'PaperChair'.
I designed it primarily for the use at outdoor events like music festivals, moonlight cinemas, film festivals etc. Which of course can be recycled after use. However it turned out much stronger than i ever imagined and can be used for months as spare seating around the house for BBQ's or schools!
The chair comes flat packed and is one singular sheet of cardboard. It takes 3 simple steps to construct it and once up can literally be thrown around, or just sat on... Either way its bloody solid!
The large panel on the rear of the seat is optimal for company logos and branding which would get a particular brand some serious attention! And of course in the right direction. Everything is going green these days so get on board! Card-board! Great gag... I'll leave the comedy alone from now on...
Is this long enough for a blog post? Surely it is... If i'm getting bored writing your getting bored reading. So, i'll leave it with that. If you'd like any more info on the PaperChair, check out it's site - www.paperchair.com.au and let me know what you think, or if you'd like to get involved somehow!?
